Thank you for your support On behalf of Central Peninsula Hospital, I want to express our deepest appreciation to the businesses and individuals who have stepped up to support the hospital and our staff over the last several months while we prepared to care for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Schoolchildren wrote letters and sent drawings to staff, folks posted signs of gratitude, local restaurants provided sustenance and more. Many skilled people, such as Mountain Mama and Bearly Threaded Quilting Too, sewed masks and gowns or made face shields to bolster our supply of personal pro- tective equipment (PPE) to keep our staff and patients safe. Other individuals and businesses generously donated their own stocks of PPE, including Kenai Peninsula College, Marathon Oil, Blue Crest Energy and Home Depot. Our hospital first opened its doors nearly 50 years ago thanks to the vision and support of the Central Kenai Peninsula Community. So it is not surprising that our community would continue to step up over the last several months while we responded to the threat of COVID-19. Your acts of kindness and generosity have not gone unnoticed. All of us at Central Peninsula Hospital are humbled by your actions and support. We are proud to be a community-initiated, community-nurtured organization. Thank you. 2 Central Peninsula Hospital
